Promote interest in the Nordic region’s exotic food and drink culture and promote Linie Award’s 10th anniversary.
A prestigious chef and drink competition where 5 young chefs and 5 bartenders under the age of 26 from the Nordic countries will compete to make the best dish and drink where Linie Aquavit and seafood must be incorporated. This year we also welcomed Germany to the competition mix and to the jury. The competition will be held at the extraordinary Stockholms Stadshus by the sea. Michelin star-chef Jacob Holmström (Gastrologik, Stockholm) and renowned swedish bartender Ludde Grenmo (Linje Tio, Stockholm) are the jury chairmen with the rest of the prominent jury including 5 michelin star chefs and well known bartenders from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Germany. Entertainment by swedish «Idol» contestant, Erik Rapp. The event was hosted by famous chef, Niklas Ekstedt.
Be a stepping stone for promising young chefs and bartenders in Scandinavia and Germany and to discover the futures «Ones to Watch» in the cuisine and drink scenery. Introduce Arcus employees, press and guests the art of combining aquavit with food and cocktails. The winners receive a journey of a lifetime, traveling to Dubai for a cultural and educational experience.
